The oldest country club west of the Mississippi, the Denver Country Club is steeped in history and tradition. It was formed in 1887 and moved to its present location along Cherry Creek in 1905. The Denver Country Club has been a leader in a number of diverse sports – lawn bowling and croquet, figure skating, hockey, golf, tennis, and swim.
Please exercise extreme caution when entering or exiting the club grounds. The main entrance to the Denver Country Club crosses a busy pedestrian and bicycle path. Upon entering, please be aware of traffic on the pathway. When leaving the club, please stop at the red light well behind the sidewalk. A right turn during the red light is not permitted. Lastly, when the light turns green, look both directions before proceeding slowly.
